International Women’s Month
I am endlessly inspired by the talented women who I have had the privilege of connecting with through my work. These are women are building businesses, chasing big dreams, and expanding the idea of what is possible. They are all deeply creative, kind, and generous people. I felt inspired to share more about them this month, their projects and where you can find more of their stories. I am excited to feature some of them including some new client projects in this post.
Case Study: FUTUREFORMS
FUTUREFORMS is an Art & Design Studio based in San Francisco operating globally. The managing partners brought me in to get a fresh set of eyes on the studio’s online presence. After learning about their target audience, current goals we landed on: refreshing and streamlining their website, implementing a SEO strategy, and email marketing.
Case Study: Twrl Milk Tea
Twrl Milk Tea is a startup beverage company based in San Francisco. Twrl is a premium, plant-based milk tea brand that sources fair-trade, organic tea from family-owned farms. The co-founders brought me in to get a fresh set of eyes on their website, SEO strategy and email marketing.
Case Study: Neighborhood House
The Potrero Hill Neighborhood House was founded in 1907 and has served the local community ever since. For the past 15 years I’ve enjoyed putting together events for organizations and brands and I was thrilled when the Executive Director and his board entrusted me to bring their idea of a family-friendly STEM (science & technology) themed festival to the community.
Case Study: Sparkle SF
Sparkle SF is the premiere nail art studio in the San Francisco Bay Area. Mia Rubie is the celebrity nail artist behind the popular @superflynails IG and the owner of Sparkle SF, located in San Francisco’s Mission district. Mia reached out about refreshing her website, salon brand and SEO and updating it to reflect her studio’s current vibe and clientele.
Case Study: Acute Collective
I’ve loved working with vivacious and creative Linda, the stylist/owner at Acute Collective - a hair salon collective in San Francisco. Linda is a master colorist, stylist and her specialty is rescuing brittle, damaged hair and bringing it back to life. As her business grew, she took on more space and a team of cosmetologists - all of them independent business owners themselves. Being in this creative space and supporting other beauty entrepreneurs is Linda’s happiest place. She loves the freedom of being her own boss and sharing that with others is her passion.
