Acute Collective is a hair salon and plant shop in San Francisco’s Mission District. Linda is a master colorist and stylist. Her specialty is rescuing brittle, damaged hair and bringing it back to life. As her business grew, she took on more space and a team of cosmetologists - all of them independent business owners themselves. Being in this creative space and supporting other beauty entrepreneurs is Linda’s happiest place. She loves the freedom of being her own boss and sharing that with others is her passion. Chatting in her chair about both the joys and challenges of being a solo business owner, we shared our past work experiences and discovered an opportunity to collaborate. Linda knew she wanted to level up elements of her online presence but felt overwhelmed around where to begin. I was excited to share my knowledge and love of research with Linda.
